Our journey began many years ago when we first came to L’Escala to spend our holidays. Even then, we fell head over heels in love with this magical place and bought our first house.
Over time, we added more properties and, having decided to move here before we retired, we started renting out our own houses to holidaymakers. Our aim was to give others the same memorable experiences that we enjoyed and still enjoy here.
Following enquiries from other holiday home owners, whose homes we were happy to include in our portfolio if they met our quality standards, the idea of expanding our offer was born. However, we have made a conscious decision to keep the number of our properties manageable in order to maintain our personalised service and not just hand over keys.
In response to repeated enquiries from our guests as to whether we also offer properties for sale, we trained as estate agents last winter. We opened our new estate agency in the heart of the old town, right next to the church, in a charming old village house with stone walls and the typical Catalan round ceiling, the ‘volta catalana’.
Today, my husband Helmut, our son Oskar and I work in this enchanting office. Our aim is not only to rent out holiday homes for unforgettable holidays, but also to help you find your dream property or to make the sales process as pleasant as possible.
Not only the three of us are occasionally to be found in our office, but also our dogs, who are just as happy to see every guest as we are.
